Contextualization
In Artifact 1, I identified Canva poster maker as the brand new digital tool where I collaborated with my students. This collaboration was part of the 5th grade science unit on Classification of Animals. The artifact highlights the learning process between my students and I where we collaborated to create classroom examples of the final project. During this process, we had the opportunity to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, such as copying images from a source outside of Canva, editing our posters to include audio, and sharing the final projects. The successes and challenges we had as we co-learned are addressed in the artifact. This criterion is highlighted in the video from 2:06 to 4:58.
