Contextualization
In Artifact 7, I share the guidelines, the C.R.A.A.P. strategy, I taught my students to evaluate online resources and information critically. The Evaluating Online Resource Plan I created in ITEC 7455 allowed me to guide my learners to evaluate online information and resources. Being able to discern online information is one of the key aspects of digital citizenship. By teaching students strategies for curating online resources through analyzing validity, accuracy, potential bias and relevance, students will become empowered in the online community. This criterion is highlighted in the video from 0:00 to 3:47.
